MAY 2009 :
First of the ‘Container Challenges’ arrives from Ballymena,
Northern Ireland. The entire trip donated by ‘Haulier of the Year’
Blair’s International Transport. Driver, Sydney Collins, donates
his time for the trip to bring goods and urgently needed supplies
valued at over £25,000 ($37,500) for the poor and suffering in
Romania.
APRIL 2009:
Christ Lutheran Church , Charlotte NC in America stages a
production of ‘The Music Man’ to support Smiles. $10,000 (£6,650)
is raised for the work in Romania. Thanks to all the Cast and
Supporters. Great Job!
APRIL 2009:
Support Base of The Smiles Foundation grows in United Kingdom. 5
Regional Development Associates recruited this month and hopefully
two more soon to be announced.
